My name is Dez Chee. Originally from Ganado,AZ from the Navajo Nation reservation. My clans are TábÄ…Ä…há (Water Edge clan), born for Tó'áhani (Near the water clan), maternal grandfather's clan is TÅ‚'iziÅ‚ání (Manygoats clan), paternal grandfather's clan is MÄ…'iideesgíízhinii (Coyote Pass clan). This is how we identify ourselves thru clan relationships. I grew up around livestock, which my paternal grandparents raised on their Ranch in Wheatfields, AZ. Always had a passion riding horses, rounding up cattle and even helping my uncle break and tam horses. Then I experience my 1st bullride at a local practice pin where my uncle used to practice. After that first ride I had that adrenaline rush and wanted to try again, so I bucked 3 bulls that day and from then I continued to practice and traveled to local rodeos with my cousin brothers for a couple year's in high school. Then life happened and just started working and always working. So I stopped rodeoing for a few year's. Then I found the motivation to start again because I realized that, that's what I missed. I'm still learning, different techniques from close family/friends in and outside the arena. I'm very greatful for all the support from everyone, including my sponsors and most of all my parents. Family/friends keep me going and I'll continue do what I love in this sport I choose to do.

About Us
The Midwest Senior Bull Riding Association was established in 2022, by Jesse Killen and
Justin Moran. With a goal in mind of giving folks 35 and over a chance to begin or continue
in the sport of bull riding. In the year 2024 we added all ages from Mutton Bustin to open
divisions, along with exhibition rides. At MSBA we want to educate and teach the
fundamentals of the correct technique to ensure safety of the riders and animals. We want
to continue to grow and offer more to our riders by opening this up to riding clinics and offer
scholarships to kids in addition to teaching the western heritage to help make it possible to
keep their love of riding and continued safety a possibility.
